Super Robot
Even though it?s something so many of us have grown up with, I?ve never seen a roleplay done in this genre outside of Super Robot Wars, and I?d rather not do fan fiction, so the lack oof anything only makes me want it more. The best way I could see one of these working is in a 1x1, with one player as the pilot/hero, and the other in a game master/ narrator role, playing all the allies, villains, monsters of the week, etc. I?m open to ideas, so I?d like to know how much you want to play with the conventions of the genre and how light, humorous, or dark you?d want it, and we could work on the settings and plot details out together. I am also open to framing it as a real robot style story in the vein of the original Mobile Suit Gudnam, Macross/Robotech, Votoms, etc. Alternatively, this could be done with a "super hero" type story in general
This Romance Already in Progress
Basically, I want to do something a little out of the ordinary, since ?fidning love? is frequently end all be all, especially in the in the . So if I did a romance rp, it could be pretty cool if it delt with problems facing an already established couple, or EVEN LESS OFTEN SEEN, focus on the transitionary period (A.K.A The Yuri Gap) between the acceptance of confession and the who characters being a true couple, like when the couple is just starting to live together.
My Husband?: A specific version of this that would interest me. Very simple and not entirely uncommon scenario, but one that has possibilitees. Basically, we?d play as a married couple. There?s alreadya sense of distance growing in the relationship when the wife (the roles can change or the couple can even be same sex, I?m just using an example) finds out though some reason (like finding articles of clothing that isn?t hers, lying around, though this might make her think he?s cheating on her at first) that her husband identifies as female. How does she take it. How could somebody commit their life to someone without telling them central part of who they are? Will the ?husband? transition. If she does, can the wife deal with the changes that the person she fell in love with is going through?
Rivals/A Respected Foe/Kismesis
A character dynamic, obviously, and not a plot, but it?s still something I?d like to see. I just like that little layer of complexity when a protagonist and antagonist don?t hate each other, or at least grow to see the other as a human being. Obviously, this can fit into all kinds of stories.
